Green Bath Tip: Replace or Retrofit the Toilet
Do you have any idea how much water gets wasted in your bathroom every day? Far too much. Going green at home is a trend that catching on in homes all over the U.S. And the logical place to start is in the bathroom… but how?
Replace or retrofit your toilet.
If your bathroom still houses an older model, it likely takes 3.5 gallons or more per flush – what a waste! Today’s new low-flow toilet models operate just as reliably, but only flush 1.3 gallons of water or less.
For whatever reason, if a new toilet isn’t an option for you, you can always retrofit your current commode with a controllable flush handle.
